“My imagination is busy doing other things.”
Welcome back to another pulse pounding episode of the Jamhole! We’re about halfway through October and the Halloween shit has come out. We hope you are all doing as well as can be expected given the tools at hand, and we look forward to chatting with you again next week. Enjoy the notes!
Are any of y’all on the back door app? Is it really as lit as I think it is?
In a new bit I’m probably going to name Then and Now, we discuss an original film, then the remake. In today’s episode of Then and Now, we chat about Salem’s Lot.
The original was created in 1979 based off an early Stephen King novel. Then there was a sequel called A Return to Salem’s Lot, which came out in 1987.
There was also another Salem’s Lot tv show with Rob Lowe that came out in 2004, but we skipped that nonsense. The Salem’s Lot remake came out in 2024, and it’s available on Max.
Dear Jamholia, how do we deal with aggressive junkies? Sincerely, Reddit.
While we’re on Reddit, here’s your Friday Rant Thread!
The astronauts on the ISS got a super cool show from the recent CME’s that are blasting the planet.
Did anyone see the comet? Apparently Saturday night it should have been visible. It won’t be visible for another 80,000 years they say.
How do we feel about hurricane and other weather conspiracy’s? Pretty nutty boo boo yea?
Clearwater, among many other places, got flooded pretty good. This is only going to get worse as water levels rise.
If you enjoy the flooding on the coast, you’re going to love the flooding in the Sahara.
On this weird weather heavy episode of the Jamhole, we discover farm animals are generally smarter than humans when it comes to finding shelter during storms.
Did you know the FBI has their own shitcoin? They apparently launched one to see how so called automated market makers operated.
BJ showing up this week with a few stories.
First up is an article about Casa Bonita and the South Park gents.
Next we have a Wired article about how psychedelic mushrooms are getting stronger.
Finally, an article on Johnny Depp’s art exhibit. Did you know Mr. Depp was in the original Nightmare on Elm Street? This will be the next film in our Then and Now look back to look forward movie bit.
