“You can’t even use feet, you have to use hands.”
Welcome back to another episode of the Jamhole. Just like that, we’re already through the first week of June, and coming to the realization that adulthood is mostly fixing bicycles, assembling furniture incorrectly, and trying not to let the state of civilization raise your blood pressure too much.
Remember, you can watch these as video too over on the Jamholia Patronus!
BJ and I kick things off with a surprisingly productive day involving bike repairs, summer rides, and a bread box assembly project that briefly threatened to become a homicide investigation. Somewhere in the chaos we discover that our individual weaknesses combine to form one mostly functional adult human.
I wrote a new blog post over at Dope Depot Reviews. It’s called TAC VS THC. Join me on this journey through cannabis chemistry, as I break down the data behind the high. Using real lab results from our Red Eye extracts, ultimate extraction tradeoff: as cannabinoid percentages skyrocket, flavor-packed terpenes plummet.
Since it’s Friday, let’s see what is bothering the natives over on r/Eugene. This week local civilization appears to be collapsing under the unbearable burden of parking meters, leaf blowers, Bluetooth speakers, and mediocre sausage gravy.
Someone dumps an RV septic tank into a diesel fuel reservoir.
Oregon gets into another poop-water situation. This one is in Oakridge.
We discuss electricity prices, aging infrastructure, the increasingly obvious consequences of decades of deferred maintenance, and why rich people might simply view entire countries as temporary resource extraction projects.
We’ve got a Telegram channel for the Jamhole! Come hang out and say hi. This is where the live shows are happening when they happen.
